A perspective from our director

Public financial management should ultimately be judged by what it enables government to deliver.

Over more than two decades of working across public-finance systems, I have seen that technically sound reforms are not enough on their own. Budgets, financial controls, institutions and information systems create value when they help governments make better choices, strengthen accountability and improve the services that reach citizens.

At PFM Solutions, we therefore look beyond individual PFM instruments. We connect fiscal realities, institutional capability and sector delivery—from national systems to frontline services—and focus on reforms that can actually work within government.
